Continuing Spanish Lecturer

Caroline Kreide is a Continuing Spanish Lecturer at the University of California, Merced. She received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley. Her degree focused on Latin American literature of the 19th and 20th century (1/5) as well as German literature (4/5). Interests of hers are second-language acquisition and cultural studies. She stays active in the profession by faithfully attending conferences and by visiting the countries where the Spanish language is spoken. At UC Merced, her primary teaching responsibility has been first-year Spanish.
